Sprout AI is a learning organization co-founded in August 2020 by two students from Calgary: Emily Chen and Jason Xie.
Our Aim
Sprout AI aims to introduce youth to the field of Artificial Intelligence, programming and statistical thinking. With vast resources and in-depth lessons for young students, We aim to develop enthusiastic innovators and creative thinkers in the field of AI.
Events
Through various programs and activities, Sprout AI hopes to satisfy the needs of coding enthusiasts, as well as cultivate an interest in youth who are new to the area of computer science.

Emily Chen
Emily is a grade 9 student in Calgary, Alberta, who enjoys using her creative energy to help others. A few of Emily’s hobbies include running, swimming, drawing, coding/programming, sewing, and baking. During her free time, you will likely find Emily in her kitchen cooking, baking, and …well, eating!
Jason Xie
Jason is a grade 11 full IB student at Sir Winston Churchill High School in Calgary, Alberta. An enthusiastic scholar and instructor, Jason hopes to make an impact on the experience of youth in computer science and programming. When not busy at work, you can find him on the slopes skiing, reading, or playing the piano.
